The 2018 DC Baby Show is gearing up its biggest show to date, happening from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. March 24 at the Walter E. For thousands of new and expectant parents from the DC area, the DC Baby Show offers a fun, informative, and family-friendly day of shopping and learning as you make your way from pregnancy into parenthood. Throughout the day there will be face painting and other entertainment free of charge for the kids to enjoy.

The Baby Show offers the chance to leisurely explore over 200 top brands and new innovative products for maternity, baby, and toddler (and have helpful conversations with people who really know their stuff), giving you a chance to compare strollers, slings, bottles, car seats and more at one stop.

The show also offers an inspiring menu of seminars with expert speakers and beloved figures from the world of parenting and pregnancy, covering everything from maternal health, to shopping for nursery and baby, to adjusting to life with baby.

The event is hosted by The Juvenile Products Manufacturers Association (JPMA), which represents 95 percent of prenatal to preschool products in the U.S. Attendees will see top brands, the latest trends and the newest technology in baby gear all under one roof, with access to top sources in the industry.

“The JPMA Baby Show is the industry’s premier trade event. You’ll find a world-class experience, complete with three days of trade activity on the show floor, educational programming, networking opportunities, the latest in trends and innovation, and the much-anticipated Innovation Awards,” said Kelly Mariotti, JPMA Executive Director.

JPMA will also be hosting the 2018 Innovation Awards during the JPMA Baby Show. The association will be awarding awards in eight awards and the Best in Show award for the overall highest score across all categories. Parents nationwide will also vote on their must-have product for the JPMA Parent’s Pick Award.

JPMA has been hosting the Innovation Awards for almost 30 years and has helped more than 200 companies propel their newest products into the marketplace. Companies that own the title of “JPMA’s Most Innovative” include big brands like Fisher Price, OXO, Bugaboo, Evenflo, Chicco and startups such as Boon and Owlet. Products are evaluated and judged on their innovation, marketability, trend-setting potential, appeal and usefulness by a selection committee of industry representatives, media and retail buyers. The JPMA Trade Baby Show will take place Wednesday, March 21 – Friday March 23, providing behind-the-scenes access to brands, products, trends and industry news for baby and children’s retailers.

Tickets are available online and cost $20 a person, $30 a family. Children are free.
