Police Seek Suspects in Second Street Armed Robbery

Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) First District Officers are looking for help identifying and locating three suspects after an Armed Robbery that happened on Sunday, June 24, on the 700 block of Second Street NE.

At around 3:27 a.m., the victim was approached by two males on the street. One of the suspects pulled out a handgun while the other suspect demanded the victim’s things.  The victim gave them his stuff and the suspects fled the location.

The suspects were captured by a nearby surveillance camera and can be seen in the video above.

Anyone who can identify these people or who has knowledge of this incident should take no action but call police at (202) 727-9099 or text the Department’s Text Tip Line at 50411. 

The Metropolitan Police Department currently offers a reward of up to $10,000 to anyone who provides information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for violent crimes such as armed robbery committed in the District of Columbia.
