Ward 6 Early Voting Starts Friday

Early voting in the General Elections begins today at One Judiciary Square (441 Fourth St. NW). In Ward 6 you can vote starting Friday, Oct 26 at two locations: Sherwood Recreation Center (640 Tenth St. NE) and at King Greenleaf Recreation Center (201 N St. SW).

All early voting centers will be open from 8:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. every day from Friday Oct. 26 to Friday Nov. 2, including weekends.

Anyone can vote early –you don’t need to have a special reason. You can vote at any early voting center, no matter where you live. Check out the full list –and the wait times—using the DC Board of Elections ‘The Queue’ website.

If you wait until Election Day on Nov. 6, you’ll have to vote at your designated polling place, which you can find on your voter registration card or by visiting the DCBOE Polling Place Listing, or by calling DCBOE at 202-727-2525.
