The 1st Annual Capitol Hill Puzzling Hunt begins October 1st. Sign up to rid the neighborhood of a meddlesome ghost that’s been sighted at several local businesses. The businesses have hired Gina B. Üster, world-renowned Paranormal Specialist, to help send the ghost on his way, and she needs YOUR help.
Each puzzle leads to another puzzle which increase in difficultly as you progress. Every one you solve increases your chance of winning some awesome prizes. It all leads to a grand finale event at Labyrinth on October 20 where victories will be celebrated and prizes awarded.
Participation is free. Join anytime between October 1 and October 20, but remember: This ghost is a wily foe, and it is likely that this mission will require more than one day to complete.
The puzzle hunt is one of a worldwide series of events designed to bring people together to share and delight in playing with puzzles, games, math and magic and celebrate the birthday of Martin Gardner, who was best known for writing the Mathematical Games column in Scientific American for twenty-five years.
The hunt is being created by Labyrinth Games & Puzzles with support from HillRag, Eastern Market Main Street, Barracks Row Main Street, Antiochia Home Linens, Clothes Encounters, East City Bookshop, Hill’s Kitchen, Howl to the Chief, Mr. Henry’s Restaurant, Summit to Soul, and Traipse.co.
