The family living in this small Walter Street home puts their tree in the front yard, sharing their decorations with all.

Today at the Hill Rag, we’re feeling grateful for the village whose stories we’ve told and been a part of for the past 42 years. Capitol Hill is a community full of loving people, dedicated businesses and caring organizations intertwined together to build this neighborhood we all call home. We are honored to be a part of it and a part of your day as we deliver news and views from the place we call home.

The spirit of the season is evident throughout the Hill. We are so fortunate to live in the midst of a landscape appropriate for holiday greeting cards. So, we’re celebrating the season with these images, festive images from throughout the Hill.

Happy Holidays from all of us at the Hill Rag and best wishes for 2019!
