DC Vault would like to invite their Capitol Hill neighbors to a free pole-vaulting session for beginners happening Sunday, May 5 for beginners. Kids and adults aged six and up and leashed puppies are welcome!

No experience is necessary. Hot dogs will be provided to participants after the clinic. Bring water for people and pets, and wear sunblock and comfortable athletic clothes. Friends and family are welcome to watch. Parking is available in Lot 3.

DC Vault runs an outdoor pole vault training center on East Capitol near the RFK Stadium (220 East Capitol St. NE), where they offer training sessions and events for entry level to elite athletes in individual, group and private settings. A youth course intended for vaulters aged 13 or less teaches primary phases of the vault. Beginner and Intermediate classes expand that to include dynamic stretching, primary phase drills, vaulting and then strength and speed conditioning
