Police Seek Suspect in Two Hill Armed Robberies

Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) are looking for help identifying and locating a suspect in two armed robberies involving a gun that happened Thursday, April 25, on the Unit block of Browns Court SE and the 500 block of Seventh Street NE.

At around 10:25 a.m., a suspect approached a victim on the Unit block of Browns Court SE. The suspect pulled out a handgun and demanded the victim hand over valuables, which the latter did before the suspect fled.

A few minutes later, around 10:45 a.m., the suspect approached another victim on the 500 block of Seventh Street NE. The suspect again pulled a handgun and demanded property. The victim did so and the suspect again fled the scene.

The suspect was captured by a surveillance camera and can be seen in the photos above.

Anyone who can identify this individual or who has knowledge of this incident should take no action but call police at (202) 727-9099 or text tips to the Department’s Text Tip Line at 50411.  MPD currently offers a reward of up to $10,000 to anyone who provides information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for a violent crime, including armed robbery, committed in the District of Columbia.
