Police Seek Suspect in First Street Abuse Case

Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) Sexual Assault Unit are looking for help identifying and locating a suspect after a Misdemeanor Sexual Abuse offense that happened Tuesday, June 11, on the 1300 block of First Street NE.

At approximately 4:55 p.m., the suspect approached the victim at the listed location. The suspect engaged in sexual contact with the victim then fled the scene.

The suspect was captured by a nearby surveillance camera and can be seen in the video above. Anyone who can identify this individual or who has knowledge of this incident should take no action but call police at (202) 727-9099 or text tips to the Department’s Text Tip Line at 50411.
