Andrew Trueblood, the new director of DC’s Office of Planning, will be the featured speaker for a Community Forum presented by the Capitol Hill Restoration Society (CHRS) on Tuesday, June 25 at the Hill Center (921 Pennsylvania Ave. SE).
Trueblood will discuss the Comprehensive Plan, the framework that guides economic development, housing, environmental protection, historic preservation, transportation, and more.
Trueblood is a resident of Ward 6 and holds a Masters in City Planning from MIT and a B.A. from Princeton’s Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs.
The presentation will begin at 7 p.m. and will be preceded, at 6:45 pm, by a brief membership meeting to announce the result of elections for the CHRS Board of Directors.
