Advisory Neighborhood Commission (ANC) 6B will hold a public Special Call meeting from 7 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 18th at Corner Store Arts (900 South Carolina Ave. SE).
The meeting was first announced at the Sept 10 meeting of the Commission.
The purpose of the meeting will a formal review of the DC Department of General Services (DGS) Public Space Application for construction on the Eastern Market Metro Park (EMMP) Project.
The ANC will hold a discussion prior to a vote by commissioners on a letter giving their opinion in advance of the Sept 26th hearing on the project before by the District Department of Transportation (DDOT) Public Space Committee.
The permits detail much of the work DGS anticipates doing in public space, giving the public and commissioners one final opportunity to voice their opinion on the project to a public body.

- Comments and questions by members of the Community
- Commissioners’ discussion and finalization of draft text of ANC 6B’s submission to the Public Space Committee re the EMMP application.
- Vote of ANC 6B on final text of Review Submission.
Residents will be given an opportunity to speak and are also encouraged to send ANC6B any written comments prior to the meeting. See the graphic representation of the final project design above.
