You’re home with the family, and wondering what you’re going to do next week when you’ve exhausted all the toys and games on the shelves. Not to worry: Labyrinth Games and Puzzles (645 Pennsylvania Ave. SE) has got what you need.

As of Tuesday, March 17,  the store will remain open for business from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. every day of the week. Although the store is closed for browsing and events until at least March 27th, they are still offering games for sale.

You can order games via email at orders@labyrinthgameshop.com or call 202-544-1059. If you already know what games you want, email is the fastest way to get your order processed, as phone lines are very busy at the moment. If you can’t get through, leave a message and staff will get back to you as soon as possible.

Labyrinth is offering curbside pickup, and it is the easiest way for you to get your games right now. After you order games via email or phone staff will have the games waiting for you when you arrive. When you do, call 202-544-1059 and we staff will walk games to your car.

Starting Tuesday, March 18th, Labyrinth will start same-day local deliveries. Get your orders in before 3 p.m. for same day delivery between 4 p.m. and 8 p.m. Specify contact-free deliveries if that is your preference. Delivery charges are $5 within 5 miles of the store and $10 within 5-10 miles of the store.

“We are incredibly appreciative of the support our community is showing our small business,” Donahue wrote in her email, adding that many people have asked if they can buy gift cards now for redemption later. “Of course, you can,” she said, “and we can’t possibly tell you how much the gesture means to us.”

Labyrinth has set up a gift card ordering system. Within 48 hours of your purchase, you will receive a gift card number and barcode that can be redeemed at a future date via email. Visit here to purchase your online gift card!

Play With Friends

On-site events are deferred for now, but Labyrinth is still hosting games online.

Role-Playing Games: Because of the interest in virtual RPG’s, we will be running both Guild of Heroes (our Kid’s D&D group) and Intro to D&D session remotely. We are still ironing out the final details about which platforms to best use, but these events will be announced by Thursday.
Take and Paint: If you’re going to be inside a bunch, this is a great time to pick up a new hobby like miniatures painting! Labyrinth has had to cancel the Paint and Take sessions, but instead you can pick up a mini  and join a virtual class with our staff painting teachers.

Tag #LabyrinthDC with pictures of you and your loved ones playing games! “Besides showing the community that we are still open for business, it always puts a smile on our face to see you all playing games you got here,” wrote Donahue.
